Our Legacy
For more than five decades, St. Timothy’s Episcopal Child Development Center has served children and families in Washington, D.C. Our legacy is built on trust, responsive relationships, family partnership, and an enduring commitment to nurturing every child with care, intention, and joy.
Our Programs
From infancy through age 12, our programs provide safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate experiences that support children’s learning, relationships, creativity, confidence, and growth.

Connected to Our Community
Our before- and after-school program serves children who are enrolled in kindergarten through age 12, including students attending Anne Beers Elementary School. Our dedicated and alert educators accompany children on the short walk between St. Timothy’s and Anne Beers. Children receive breakfast before school, an afternoon snack when they return, engaging activities, and care on select days when DC Public Schools are closed.
Families Are Our Partners
Families know their children best. We value respectful communication, thoughtful transitions, shared celebrations, and meaningful partnerships that help every child feel known, secure, and ready to learn. Enrolled families stay connected through Brightwheel for messages, tuition payments, photographs, videos, classroom updates, and private calendar information.
